Spring has sprung! And we are so excited to serve up another Gin co*cktail, inspired by the colorful garden blooms. This all natural spiked lemonade is the perfect elegant sip to serve at bridal showers, girls' gatherings, or just a casual evening on the back patio.

Ingredients:

  • EMPRESS 1908 GIN: 1 ½ ounces
  • LIMONCELLO: 1 ounce
  • LAVENDER SIMPLE SYRUP: 1 ounce
  • LEMONADE: 1 ½ ounces
  • TONIC WATER: a splash (to taste)

Why Empress 1908 Purple Gin?

Empress Gin has the most beautiful, all natural indigo hue, derived from butterfly pea flower and other botanicals: juniper, rose, coriander seed, grapefruit peel, ginger root, and cinnamon bark. Often referred to as "purple gin", it has a mild classic flavor.

I made this exactly as listed and it tasted fabulous! But mine didn’t look that bright purple - did you add something else to get the color?
    Thanks!!

      Hello Jamie,
We're so happy to hear that you liked our co*cktail! Hooray!
Actually, we have noticed that the blue color in the gin varies by bottle. If you are uncomfortable adding more gin, then natural food coloring is a good alternative. You can also buy butterfly pea flower powder on Amazon & specialty food markets.
      Cheers! K & J
