Hi,

Does anyone know how to fix Premiere Pro 22.2 rendering problems?

I have been using morph cut regularly on my PC and never had an issue rendering it. But now I'm getting flickering images or blinks of green on the final product out of my new Macbook Pro M1 Max. Using software rendering didn't help. Changing from frame sampling to blending to optical flow didn't do any trick either. I've tried H264, Mpeg4, QuickTime Proress 422, and none of them fixed the problem. Now I'm only left the choice of rendering it on my old machine using the older version of Premiere Pro, but I really don't want to go that route.

Thanks

I suggest you contact Adobe; visit one of their user communities. Your may get a meaningful response here, but Adobe is the developer and they should know.

Too, Adobe has not been especially timely on supplying drivers for Apple's latest OS which your MBP likely has.

  • FCP Preview looks different than rendered file....?Hello,I am trying to render 8K HDR Rec.2020 PQ files to upload to YouTube. I am shooting with a Canon R5, in 8K 10 Bit(All-I), in Clog3. Editing on a 2021 MacBook Pro 16", and able to view results on a 2nd 4K HDR monitor. I have set my Final cut project settings to Wide Gamut, and Rec.2020 PQ. Also, changed the clips settings to Rec.2020 PQ. I have experimented with HDR tools, Clog LUTS, and am still running into one BIG PROBLEM. My rendered files look different than they do in the preview in Final Cut Pro! The luminance values are different(washed out blacks, dingy midtowns, dim highlights) on the final rendered result than in the viewer in Final cut, where I make my color grading adjustments. This is true when viewing in Quicktime, or after uploading and viewing on Youtube. Can anyone help me figure out what I am doing wrong?? Stuck for days....Thanks! 8204
  • Crazy render / flashing / clip substitution problem with masked compound clipsI have used FCPX for years. In my last project the rendering has gone…bonkers. I am running FInal Cut Pro X 10.6.3 on a MacBook Pro M1 Max with 32GB of Ram.Basically I have multiple clips on screen with a variety of masks combining them (max 5). It seems to be fine when editing on screen, but after rendering or exporting it goes…well.. Crazy. Different clips flash over top of each other, some of the masks drill down to the base layer video (through a generator!). The footage is unusable. I had a similar, but much less acute problem about 3 months ago on a project but simply deleting the generated media "fixed" the issue. Now nothing seems to fix it! I have tried deleting the generated media and re-transcodingDuplicating the projectCreating a New project and copying the contents of the projectMoving the project to a different driveReplacing the video with itselfSeveral combinations of the above multiple times over. This is driving me bonkers. This is my first real Final Cut Fail since FCP 7!I have several layers of compound clips which may be confusing FInal Cut Pro X.Any suggestions for help are very welcome. Also any suggestions on how to avoid it in the future are similarly welcome. There are about 700 edit points so recreating it at this point is a challenge. I have a deadline for Tuesday, so … 😭 4903
  • spinning ball - fcpx 10.6.3 - Mac M1pro - Sony FX9 filesHello folks, i'm having a hard time with the spinning ball appearing when I tried to playback the timeline, specially from the very begginning. When the playback finally starts, it's very choppy. After three or four tries it begins to run smoothly. Then I work a bit on my edit, and when I come back to playback, same problem again.I'm editing 4k XAVC 4.2.2 10 bit 25p from Sony FX9 and FX3, but in a 1080p timeline 25p. No multicam, no text overlays, no plugins. A simple clip by clip timeline.Since FCPX didn't ask for optimized that media, I was trying to edit the original media. After applying some basic color correction, this time the dot line appears so I rendered the timeline, but the issue persits.Transcoding to proxy seems to solve the problem, but it's far from ideal and I don't know why fcpx it's choppy if everything is supposed to be rendered.I've tried moving the library and the footage to my ssd internal disk, or even to another ssd disk. I've deleted fcpx preferences. No luck.I'm kind of dissapointed that my M1 pro cannot handle these files.Macbook pro M1 Pro 16gbMacOs 12.4FCPX 10.6.3Any help appreciated.Pablo 56811
