The mesh won't scale at all; it moves with the body as it should, but the morph is not being accounted for. I've tried adjusting various settings in Blender, but nothing seems to work. Those are my uv1 datatransfer settings: uv_1 map: Vertex paint: |

It probably is vertex painted with the wrong color. It should be 00FF00 specifically A skirt should be vertex painted with two colors, though. You also should be transferring this data from a skirt of similar length, not nude legs. And as you do this, you should be choosing Nearest face interpolated This is a faster, more convenient way of transferring weights, uv_1 and vertex paint using the same tool. - make sure both the reference and your item are visible and selectable; - select your item; - no need in creating uv_1, vertex painting or transferring weights in Weight paint, just add data transfer modifier; - choose Reference as Source object; - to transfer weights, enable Vertex data and Vertex groups. Choose Nearest face interpolated for smoother results; - to transfer uv_1, enable Face corner data and UVs, then choose uv_1. Nearest face interpolated for better results again; - you can transfer vertex paint as well, but uv_1 will be messed up, seems like a big that does not exist in the newest Blender; - very important: click on Generate data layers, otherwise uv_1 and vertex groups would not be created; - Apply; - add this modifier as well, transfer vertex paint separately to avoid the aforementioned bug, apply; - rename the first uv map to uv_0; - switch to Edit mode, select everything with A, Tools - Weight tools - Clean with All groups to fix another bug that does not exist in the newest Blender; - Limit total, always in any version. |

Thank you so much! The issue was that I was using 00ff04 instead of 00ff00 for the paint color. |

Oh thanks, I didn't know that. As for switching between Blender versions (2.7 and 2.79), could I do everything with Blender 4.1 instead? I don't see why weight transfer and vertex paint wouldn't work on this version. |

Yes, you do not need two version. Things are a bit different in new blender, so heres a demonstration of how to do the whole process there |
