Bingo will be held at Garden City Baptist Church in Ballouville. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.

The IHSP New 2 You Clothing Closet located at Daily Bread in the living Faith United Methodist Church, 51 Grove Street in Putnam will be open from 11a-1p.

Smart Recovery will meet from 6-7 p.m. at TEEG, 15 Thatcher Road in North Grosvenordale. Meetings are open to anyone looking to achieve a healthy, positive and balanced life.

Community Kitchen will be held at the 1st Congregational Church of Woodstock. Doors open at 9 a.m. for coffee, muffins and fellowship and the meal is served at 12 noon. This is free and open to all.

A program entitled “Journeying Through the Bible” will be held at Living Faith United Methodist Church, Grove Street in Putnam at 6 p.m.

Putnam Recreation Department and Commission Aging presents Chess/Cribbage Games at 9 a.m., mini cornhole at 10 a.m., Ping Pong at 10 a.m. and the Walking Group at 10:30 a.m.. followed by lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Putnam Municipal Complex, 200 School Street in Putnam. The Thompson Senior Citizens Club will hold the following programs at the Thompson Community Center, 815 Riverside Drive in North Grosvenordale: Stitching Time and Card Games at 10 a.m.

The Northeast Connecticut Farmers Market will be held from 4-6 p.m. at the Plainfield Early Childhood Center, 651 Norwich Road in Plainfield.

Bingo will be held at the Putnam VFW. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the games start at 7 p.m.

The Danielson Veterans Coffeehouse will meet at the Putnam Elks, 64 Edmond Street in Putnam. A hot breakfast is served at 8:30 am and the meeting starts at 9:15.

Community Kitchen will be held at the Central Village Congregational Church, 33 Main Street in Central Village at 12 noon.

Square Dance Lessons will be held at Hayloft Steppers, 322 Podunk Road in Sturbridge, Mass from 6-8 p.m. Cost is $10 per lesson.

Overeaters Anonymous will meet at United Services, 1007 North Main Street ni Dayville at 6:30 p.m.

A Pulled Pork Picnic & Plenty of Bricks will be held at St. Mary Church, Marshall Street entrance beginning at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 each or 2 for $25 and available at WINY Radio, Putnam Rec Department and the Putnam VFW. Proceeds benefit Veterans Park Improvements & St Mary Church.

Pet Pals Northeast Low Cost Rabies Clinic will be held at Quinebaug Valley Veterinary Hospital, Route 12 on the Danielson/Plainfield line from 2-3 p.m. Cost is $15 per animal. Pre-registration and appointment is required and can be made by calling Pet Pals at 860-317-1720. No walk-ins will be permitted.

Connecticut State Community College Quinebaug Valley Veterans Stand Down will be held at the college, 742 Upper Maple Street in Danielson from 9a-2 p.m. Come on down for resources for Veterans and dependants.

A Yard Sale and Bake Sale will be held at the Oneco United Methodist Church, 1128 Plainfield Pike, Route 14 A from 9a-2 p.m.
